Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Architect role is based in Chennai. The Junior Architect will assist in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and contributing to design presentations. Daily responsibilities include producing CAD and 3D models, coordinating with senior team members, and updating documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves supporting project management activities such as tracking deliverables, assisting with schedules, and maintaining organized project files. The Junior Architect will also participate in client and consultant meetings, help integrate design inputs, and ensure that design intent is followed during execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development and preparation of design drawings.
Candidates should possess relevant Software Development and Integration skills as applied to architectural workflows, such as coordinating digital tools and ensuring smooth data exchange.
Candidates should possess Project Management abilities, including organizing tasks, tracking timelines, and supporting coordination among project stakeholders.
Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and have a solid understanding of building codes and construction practices.
Candidates should demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
A professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) and prior internship or junior-level experience in an architectural studio are preferred.
