Role Description
We are looking for a Shopify & Website Expert for a full-time, remote role at Vedic Sadhana Foundation.
The ideal candidate will manage and optimize our Shopify e-commerce platform and websites while actively using AI-assisted development tools to build and improve web pages, landing pages, email templates, and SEO.
This role requires someone who is comfortable combining traditional Shopify expertise with modern AI tools to execute digital projects faster and more effectively.
You Will Be Responsible For
Managing and maintaining Shopify stores, product catalogues, collections, and inventory.
Uploading and updating product listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, variants, and inventory.
Ensuring accurate categorization, tagging, collections, and overall catalogue organization.
Developing and modifying website pages using AI-assisted development tools.
Creating campaign and product landing pages using AI tools and implementing them on Shopify/web platforms.
Developing and modifying responsive HTML email templates using AI-assisted coding tools.
Implementing website design and UI/UX changes across desktop and mobile.
Using AI tools to improve website SEO, including metadata, page structure, schema, internal linking, content optimization, and other on-page SEO elements.
Optimizing product and landing pages for organic search visibility and performance.
Integrating and configuring Shopify apps and third-party tools.
Troubleshooting and resolving website, product listing, inventory, layout, and integration issues.
Testing pages and emails across devices and screen sizes to ensure a consistent user experience.
Improving website speed, usability, conversion, and overall performance.
Using AI tools to accelerate development, troubleshooting, content implementation, and repetitive website operations.
Ideal Profile
At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a Shopify, e-commerce, or website development role.
Proven experience managing Shopify stores and catalogues, with a portfolio of successful projects.
In-depth knowledge of Shopify, including products, collections, tags, themes, inventory, apps, and store configuration.
Experience developing or modifying Shopify pages, landing pages, and email templates.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Shopify Liquid, and basic JavaScript.
Hands-on experience using AI coding and development tools to create or modify websites, landing pages, emails, or other digital experiences.
Good understanding of SEO and AI-assisted SEO optimization.
Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile optimization.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot independently and take ownership of website-related tasks.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
We are particularly interested in candidates who actively use AI as part of their development workflow and can demonstrate how they have used AI tools to build pages, solve technical problems, improve SEO, or accelerate website development.
