Vice President Information Technology

Role Description
The Vice President Information Technology at Orix Real Estate Korea is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall technology vision, strategy, and operations for the organization. This position oversees IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data management to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support business objectives. The VP IT collaborates with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with corporate strategy, prioritize projects, and manage budgets and vendor relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT teams, setting performance goals, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The role also involves driving digital transformation, optimizing processes, and leading cross-functional projects that enhance efficiency and support growth.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, security, and cloud solutions.
Demonstrated experience in IT Management, leading diverse technical teams, managing vendors, and overseeing IT operations.
Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
Advanced Project Management skills, with experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology projects on time and within budget.
Expertise in Strategic Planning, including long-term technology roadmapping, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
Experience in financial services or real estate industries is highly beneficial, with familiarity in relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; graduate degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating strong self-management, accountability, and cross-border collaboration.
