Role Description The Vice President of Product Management is a full-time remote role responsible for setting the product vision and strategy across a portfolio of energy-related solutions. This role leads cross-functional product teams, partnering with engineering, design, operations, and commercial stakeholders to define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and deliver products that support the company’s energy transition objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing product discovery and market analysis, guiding data-driven decision-making, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring alignment between product plans and corporate strategy. The Vice President will mentor product managers, improve product management processes, manage key projects and timelines, and represent the product organization in executive-level discussions. This leader will also collaborate globally to ensure consistent product standards, optimize lifecycle management, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong product strategy and product management skills, with experience defining vision, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans for complex product portfolios.
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market data, customer insights, and performance metrics to inform product decisions.
Proven team leadership capabilities, with a track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing product management teams.
Robust project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery in cross-functional environments.
Extensive experience in senior product leadership roles, ideally within energy, technology, or related industries.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels and collaborate across global teams.
Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment, with excellent organizational skills and self-directed work habits.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial.
