Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Process vendor bills, payments, and approvals through Bill.com.
Maintain accounting records and transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial statements and accounting reports.
Handle journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
Review general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate accounting documentation.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams on accounting-related queries.
Support audit and financial reporting requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Experience with Bill.com is preferred.
Good understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
Knowledge of full-cycle accounting.
Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations.
Basic understanding of month-end closing procedures.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
CA / CMA / CPA / MBA or relevant certification is an advantage.
Experience in accounting outsourcing, BPO, shared services, or professional services is a plus.
Experience with Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or other accounting software is an advantage.
