Role Description The Human Resources Manager at chs is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing core HR functions and supporting organizational growth. Day-to-day tasks include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinating employee benefits and HR documentation, and maintaining accurate personnel records. The role involves advising managers on HR policies, supporting performance management and employee development, and assisting with employee relations and conflict resolution. The Human Resources Manager will also help ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies, contribute to HR process improvements, and partner with leadership to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices appropriate to the region of operation.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
Proficiency with HRIS or HR management software, and comfort working with digital tools in a remote environment.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a part-time schedule, and maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Prior experience in a remote or distributed work setting and interest in supporting an inclusive, equitable workplace.
