Role Description The VP of Growth is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving CatalytiQ Capital’s commercial strategy, pipeline expansion, and market positioning across target geographies and sectors. This role leads the design and execution of growth plans, including sourcing and cultivating relationships with SMEs, investors, and ecosystem partners, and converting high-quality opportunities into investable deals. The VP of Growth will oversee business development initiatives, optimize sales funnels, and coordinate with investment and product teams to align market feedback with fund structures and offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional growth projects, managing and mentoring a distributed team, refining go-to-market narratives, and tracking performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. The role also involves representing CatalytiQ Capital at industry events, developing thought leadership content, and supporting capital-raising efforts with institutional LPs and strategic partners.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Business Development and Sales skills, including experience building and managing deal pipelines and closing complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
Candidates should possess Strategic Planning and Marketing skills, including the ability to design growth strategies, segment target markets, and develop effective positioning and outreach campaigns.
Candidates should possess Team Leadership skills, including experience leading distributed teams, setting clear goals, and fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
Relevant experience in impact investing, private credit, or development finance, preferably in emerging markets such as Africa or Southeast Asia.
Demonstrated ability to work remotely with high autonomy, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across cultures and time zones.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
Advanced degree in business, finance, public policy, economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in high-growth investment or financial services organizations.
