Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Technician role based in Panaji. The Field Technician will install, configure, and maintain equipment and systems like auto doors, glass doors and partitions, Metal doors and similar at customer locations, ensuring they function safely and effectively. Daily responsibilities include installations, performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and documenting work performed. The role involves responding to service requests, coordinating with internal teams, and communicating clearly with customers about findings, timelines, and recommendations. The Field Technician will also follow safety procedures, adhere to company standards, and support continuous improvements in service quality.
Qualifications
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and work with electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience in field service, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of equipment is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document work accurately.
Capability to work independently in the field, manage time well, and handle multiple service calls.
Comfort with travelling locally in and around Panaji as required for on-site visits.
Commitment to following safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
Minimum of a high school diploma; technical certification or vocational training in a related discipline is an advantage.
Prior experience in a technician or field role, especially in technology or infrastructure domains, is beneficial.
