Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Songwriter at LyricOwl Music Community. The Songwriter will create original lyrics and melodies, develop song concepts, and refine compositions based on feedback from collaborators and producers. Daily tasks include drafting lyrics, experimenting with musical ideas, revising existing songs, and contributing to collaborative projects within the community. The role also involves participating in online sessions, sharing works-in-progress, and aligning creations with project themes or artist visions. As a remote team member, the Songwriter will manage their schedule, meet agreed deadlines, and communicate effectively with other creatives across different time zones.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Music Composition and general Music creativity.
Candidates should possess strong skills as a Lyricist, with the ability to craft compelling Lyrics.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Music Production or familiarity with basic recording tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively in online environments and incorporate constructive feedback.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Reliable remote work habits, including time management and self-directed project ownership.
Prior experience writing songs for personal projects, artists, or media is beneficial but not required.
