Role Description The Laboratory Technician role at Norphel is a full-time, on-site position based in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine laboratory tests, assist in sample collection and preparation, and operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with established protocols. Daily responsibilities include recording and analyzing data, supporting quality control procedures, and ensuring that all work meets safety and compliance standards. The role also involves preparing reagents and materials, organizing and labeling samples, and maintaining accurate documentation of laboratory activities. The Laboratory Technician will collaborate with other team members, communicate findings clearly, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and hands-on experience as laboratory technicians.
Candidates should possess knowledge of laboratory equipment and its safe, efficient operation.
Candidates should possess quality control skills, including adherence to standard operating procedures and documentation practices.
Candidates should possess analytical skills for interpreting test results and identifying discrepancies.
Relevant diploma or degree in laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
Understanding of laboratory safety standards and proper handling of samples and chemicals.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established protocols accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate clearly in English and local languages as needed.
Prior experience in a laboratory or field-based testing environment in India is an advantage.
