Vice President of Digital Innovation

Role Description The Vice President of Digital Innovation is a full-time remote role responsible for driving the cooperative’s digital transformation strategy and execution. This position leads the design and implementation of innovative digital products and services that enhance member experience, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing digital initiatives from concept to launch, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The Vice President monitors market trends, evaluates emerging technologies, and develops strategic partnerships to strengthen the cooperative’s digital ecosystem. This role also sets performance metrics, manages budgets related to digital projects, and regularly reports progress and outcomes to senior leadership and the board.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities to assess data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Proven expertise in Strategic Planning to define digital roadmaps, set priorities, and align initiatives with organizational objectives.
Demonstrated Project Management skills to lead digital initiatives, manage timelines and resources, and ensure successful delivery.
Experience building and maintaining Strategic Partnerships with technology providers, fintechs, and other relevant stakeholders.
Leadership experience in digital innovation, IT, product management, or related fields within financial services or cooperative environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Familiarity with digital banking platforms, cybersecurity best practices, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating accountability, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
