Senior Director, Global Business
I. Position Overview
Responsible for the planning, expansion, and operational management of the company's global business ecosystem. Formulates global market development plans aligned with the company's overall strategy and drives business growth across key regions, major clients, and strategic partnerships.
This role serves as a bridge between senior management, regional business teams, strategic clients, and external partners. It requires capabilities in cross-regional business management, business development, strategic planning, and resource integration, as well as the ability to adapt to cross-time-zone, remote, and international work environments.
II. Core Responsibilities
Global Business Strategy
Formulate global business development strategies, annual targets, and medium-to-long-term market plans.
Analyze market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and industry trends across different countries and regions.
Adjust regional business strategies and resource allocation in response to market changes.
Report global business progress, market opportunities, and potential risks to senior management.
Global Market Expansion
Lead business development in key countries, regions, and industry sectors.
Establish and maintain relationships with major clients, institutional clients, and strategic partners.
Drive market entry, business collaborations, and the execution of commercial projects.
Explore new business models, sales channels, and strategic partnership opportunities.
Strategic Partnerships and Resource Integration
Establish partnerships with financial institutions, corporations, technology companies, and other strategic partners.
Drive major cross-departmental and cross-regional commercial projects.
Integrate internal resources across product, technology, marketing, operations, and sales functions.
Participate in key business negotiations, partnership agreements, and strategic project decision-making.
Global Team Management
Manage regional business heads and senior business teams.
Establish goal-setting, performance management, and operational mechanisms for global business teams.
Coordinate business resources and client relationships across regional teams.
Develop regional business leaders and core management talent.
Performance and Operational Management
Oversee core metrics such as global business revenue, client growth, and market expansion.
Establish mechanisms for business data analysis and regular reporting.
Track key projects through the entire lifecycle—from opportunity identification to contract signing, execution, and long-term partnership.
Formulate adjustment and optimization plans based on business data.
III. Qualifications
18+ years of experience in international business, strategic development, business development, investment, finance, technology, or related fields.
Experience in global market or cross-regional business management. Priority given to candidates with existing client and partner networks among large enterprises, financial institutions, investment firms, or multinational corporations.
Strong capabilities in business analysis, strategic planning, and negotiation.
Ability to independently lead complex business projects and drive cross-departmental collaboration for execution.
Excellent English business communication skills; ability to handle international communication across time zones.
Strong written communication, reporting, and executive-level communication skills.
Proficiency in using tools such as Email, LinkedIn, Slack, Teams, and Google.
