Role Description This is a full-time, on-site/office role based in Chennai for Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, and Planning & QS Engineers. Team members will support project planning, design, and execution, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, monitoring site activities, and assisting in resolving technical issues. The role also involves preparing estimates, quantity take-offs, and project schedules, tracking progress against plans, and updating documentation and reports. Engineers will work closely with project managers to support cost control, resource planning, and efficient delivery of construction and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply fundamental engineering principles to practical project challenges.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects, including coordination with site teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Skills in Planning and project scheduling, with the ability to support estimation, quantity surveying, and tracking of timelines and deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (for MEP roles), or a related engineering discipline.
Proficiency in relevant design and planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, project scheduling tools); knowledge of BIM tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate across disciplines.
Prior experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
