About the Role
Antora Energy is seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead the company's investment strategy, capital allocation, financing initiatives, and evaluation of strategic growth opportunities.
As a member of the executive leadership team, the CIO will be responsible for developing disciplined investment frameworks, evaluating capital-intensive opportunities, supporting project and corporate financing strategies, and aligning investment decisions with the company's long-term growth objectives.
The ideal candidate combines deep investment expertise, strong financial judgment, and executive leadership with experience across energy, infrastructure, project finance, industrial technology, or other capital-intensive markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's investment strategy and capital allocation framework.
Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities across energy, infrastructure, industrial technology, and related markets.
Lead investment underwriting, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction analysis.
Evaluate project investments, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and corporate development opportunities.
Develop investment recommendations based on project economics, market fundamentals, risk assessment, and long-term strategic value.
Analyze financing structures, capital requirements, expected returns, and investment risks.
Support project financing, capital raising, and other strategic financing initiatives.
Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, engineering, operations, commercial, business development, and legal teams.
Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders, financial institutions, infrastructure investors, and strategic capital partners.
Establish investment governance, portfolio monitoring, and performance measurement frameworks.
Monitor energy markets, capital markets, technology developments, and emerging investment opportunities.
Present investment recommendations, financing strategies, and capital allocation priorities to executive leadership.
