2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Associate, Home Health Collections role is responsible for managing reimbursement services activities to ensure accurate billing and effective collection processes. This position plays a key role in analyzing data, supporting projects, and leading team members, contributing directly to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the reimbursement services function.
3. Responsibilities:
Verify billing accuracy and perform meaningful collection activities
Participate in payer projects and prepare reports
Analyze data and metrics and present findings
Provide administrative and project support
Lead, coach, and train team members as needed
Manage at least one team member or multidisciplinary project/process
Identify resources required for routine work plans or special projects
Provide operational management support for work plans and projects
Solve complex reimbursement and business problems
Recommend solutions and best practices
Research and summarize complex information
Manage and coordinate payer projects
Assist in leading regional team meetings or presentations
Serve as expert within own function and act as committee member
Create and manage policies, practices, and procedures for reimbursement services
Respond professionally to client, service office, and payer inquiries
Draft and distribute professional correspondence and announcements
Maintain professional conduct and exceed performance standards
4. Requirements:
Four-year college degree
Minimum of two years’ experience in a Collection III or Billing III Reimbursement Services role
At least four years’ experience in a home healthcare billing and collections environment
Specialized expertise in reimbursement services processes and business
Effective project management and organizational skills
Strong presentation skills
Proficiency in basic business software applications
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills
Proven record of goal achievement and ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to organize information and understand organizational structure, finances, and goals
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to challenge the status quo
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Base Salary: $48,000 - $65,000 per year depending on qualifications
