The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of the company, business unit, subsidiary, or regional business division, bearing comprehensive responsibility for business strategy, revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, customer development, team building, and business results.
This role requires translating the company's strategic goals into concrete operational plans and coordinating the execution efforts of sales, marketing, operations, finance, product, customer service, and other functional teams. For enterprises with independent business units, the General Manager is typically also responsible for the overall P&L, budgeting, resource allocation, and organizational development.

**I. Overall Business Strategy**
Formulate annual and medium-to-long-term business strategies for the business unit.
Translate the company's overall strategy into specific business objectives and execution plans.
Adjust business direction based on market conditions, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Continuously assess business development and drive the implementation of strategies.

**III. P&L and Financial Management**
Assume management responsibility for the business unit's overall P&L.
Formulate annual budgets, revenue plans, and cost control targets.
Monitor performance regarding revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and cash flow.
Analyze variances between actual operating results and budget targets.
Optimize resource allocation and return on operations.
**IV. Operations Management**
Oversee the daily operations and key business processes of the business unit.
Establish operational standards, management systems, and performance mechanisms.
Identify operational bottlenecks and drive their resolution.
Optimize the allocation of resources, personnel, and business processes.
Improve overall operational efficiency and execution capabilities.
**V. Customer and Business Relationships**
Manage relationships with key and strategic customers.
Participate in major business negotiations and key commercial opportunities.

VIII. Risk and Compliance Management
Identify key business operational risks.
Establish mechanisms for monitoring and escalating operational risks.
Monitor risks associated with key customers, suppliers, and partners.
Ensure business compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Develop response plans for major operational risks and business continuity.
IX. Team Leadership and Organizational Development
Lead the business unit’s senior management and functional teams.
Define organizational structure, role responsibilities, and management mechanisms.

Develop talent in sales, operations, finance, and business management.
Foster a high-performance, customer-centric, and results-oriented team culture.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field.
MBA or EMBA preferred.
Work Experience
20+ years of experience in business management, operations, sales, or business development.
15+ years of senior management experience.
Experience managing a complete business unit or regional operation.
Experience managing P&L, budgets, and resource allocation.
