Executive Vice President of Operations

Role Description The Executive Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s operational strategy, systems, and performance. This position leads the design and execution of operational plans, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s mission and long-term goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, monitoring budgets and P&L performance, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to beneficiaries and partners. The role also involves setting operational priorities, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing key projects, and maintaining compliance with relevant nonprofit regulations and standards. The Executive Vice President of Operations collaborates closely with executive leadership to support organizational growth, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
Experience with P&L Management, budgeting, and financial oversight in a complex or mission-driven organization.
Customer Service and stakeholder management skills to ensure responsive, high-quality support to beneficiaries, partners, and internal teams.
Strategic Planning capabilities to develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Project Management skills to lead initiatives, manage timelines and risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated leadership experience at a senior level, preferably in nonprofit, social impact, or related sectors.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial.
Experience with data-driven decision-making, performance metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
