Chief Audit Executive

Role Description The Chief Audit Executive is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s audit function and ensuring strong financial and compliance governance. This role includes planning and managing internal audits, reviewing audit reports, and monitoring risks related to finance, taxation, and operational processes. The Chief Audit Executive will analyze financial statements, assess compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, and recommend improvements to internal controls. Day-to-day tasks involve leading audit projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, presenting findings to senior leadership, and establishing best practices for transparent and accurate financial reporting.

Candidates should possess strong audit-related skills, including experience preparing and reviewing audit reports.
Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and evaluate financial and operational risks.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other relevant tax and compliance frameworks.
Candidates should possess finance-related skills, including budgeting, financial planning, and risk management.
Candidates should possess expertise in analyzing and interpreting financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, CIA, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
Demonstrated experience in leading audit functions, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
Strong communication skills, ability to present complex findings clearly, and comfort collaborating in a remote environment.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain high ethical standards.
