Vice-President of Project Management

It is the primary backer of SCGAI Cryptoport, a 40 million square foot digital economy city project. Role Description The Vice-President of Project Management is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing complex, multi-phase projects across mubadalacapital’s portfolio, with a primary focus on the SCGAI Cryptoport digital economy city development. This role leads project management teams, defines project governance frameworks, and ensures alignment with strategic, financial, and operational objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting project plans and milestones, managing budgets and resource allocation, monitoring risks and dependencies, and driving timely decision-making. The Vice-President collaborates closely with executive leadership, investment teams, external partners, and technical experts to ensure projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget. The role also involves building best-practice methodologies, mentoring project managers, and establishing performance metrics and reporting standards to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong Project Management skills, including end-to-end project lifecycle oversight and stakeholder coordination.
Demonstrated Program Management capabilities for managing multiple interconnected projects and large-scale initiatives.
Advanced Analytical Skills for assessing project performance, risk, and value, and for data-driven decision-making.
Experience with Budgeting and financial control, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and optimizing project investments.
Proficiency in Project Planning, including scheduling, resource planning, and establishing clear milestones and deliverables.
Proven leadership experience in senior project or program management roles, ideally within infrastructure, real estate, digital economy, or related sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed environment and manage teams across locations and time zones.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Prince2, MS Project, or similar) is highly beneficial.
Relevant advanced degree (e.g., in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Project Management) and/or professional certifications (such as PMP or PgMP) preferred.
