Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Mysore. The Junior Architect will support senior team members in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and producing detailed design documentation. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating 2D/3D models, preparing presentations, assisting with material selection, and coordinating with consultants and vendors under guidance. The role also involves contributing to design reviews, supporting project management tasks such as tracking timelines and deliverables, and ensuring that project documentation aligns with local regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
B.Arch degree from an accredited institution.
Strong foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and technical detailing.
Ability to support Integration of design elements and building systems, working collaboratively with consultants and other disciplines.
Proficient in softwares for architectural design and visualizations. (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
Capacity to assist with Project Management activities, such as organizing documentation, tracking project progress, and coordinating tasks.
Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and willingness to learn from feedback.
Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles is beneficial.
