Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our finance Accounts Payables team consisting of 5-8 team members. This pivotal role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting operations, proficiency with various accounting software, and a passion for driving financial excellence within a vibrant organization.
Duties
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Ensure accurate account reconciliation and perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Utilize accounting software to maintain precise financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards.
Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently while coordinating with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role within an accounting environment.
Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliation, account analysis, and financial reporting standards.
Experience managing accounts payable, payroll processing, and budgeting processes.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification such as CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
