About the Opportunity:
The ACCOUNTING MANAGER, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE is responsible for leading end-to-end accounts receivable accounting processes across a global footprint. This role ensures accurate and audit-ready subledger management, applies U.S. GAAP to complex receivables issues, and drives automation initiatives to enhance process efficiency. The position plays a crucial role in maintaining balance sheet integrity and enabling scalable finance operations through AI and technology adoption.
Responsibilities:
Lead the global AR month-end close process including reconciliations, adjustments, and management reporting.
Manage allowance for doubtful accounts and credit loss models ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance.
Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities within AR accounting workflows.
Maintain AR subledger integrity and provide clear financial insights on AR trends and movements.
Ensure audit readiness and act as primary liaison for auditors on AR matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate subledger accuracy and reconcile balances.
Support finance transformation initiatives including ERP system implementations and process standardization.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of progressive AR and GL accounting experience in mid-to-large organizations.
CPA certification and Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong technical accounting skills with U.S. GAAP expertise related to receivables and credit loss.
Ability to operate independently producing reviewer-ready workpapers.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
Experience with M&A accounting and integration environments preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with AI tools and data platforms like Databricks.
High ownership, detail orientation, effective communication skills, and adaptability.
Prior experience in high-growth technology or SaaS environments preferred.
