Role Description The Accounts Payable Clerk (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for managing vendor invoices and payments to support the financial operations of NARMC FAMILY MEDICINE GROUP. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and entering invoices into accounting software, verifying accuracy and proper authorization, and ensuring timely payment processing. The role involves reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining organized records for audits and reporting. The Accounts Payable Clerk will regularly communicate with vendors and internal departments to address billing questions and support smooth financial workflows. This remote position requires consistent, secure access to systems and adherence to organizational policies and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Finance and basic Accounting to manage payables and understand healthcare-related financial processes.
Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software and Invoicing to accurately enter, track, and process vendor payments.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with vendors, colleagues, and supervisors in a remote environment.
Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Prior experience in accounts payable, medical billing, or healthcare administration is beneficial.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and standard office productivity tools is preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional coursework or certification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
