About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description VeroQA is a platform focused on structured country comparison, helping individuals evaluate cost of living, salary levels, safety, and overall quality of life in a single, clear view. Rather than focusing only on income, VeroQA highlights what people can realistically keep and how their daily lives may feel in different locations. By aggregating multiple real-world indicators such as housing prices, taxation, healthcare quality, and purchasing power, the platform supports more informed relocation and lifestyle decisions. VeroQA’s mission is to move decisions away from guesswork and emotional bias toward evidence-based, practical insights. The company empowers users to identify where their lives make the most sense, not just where they can earn the most.
Role Description The VP of Corporate Affairs is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and managing VeroQA’s public profile, stakeholder relationships, and strategic communications. This position oversees corporate affairs initiatives, including reputation management, government and regulatory engagement, and media relations strategy. The VP will develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that support business goals, ensure alignment of internal and external messaging, and protect and enhance the company’s brand. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with executive leadership on policy positions, preparing talking points and briefings, managing press inquiries and interviews, and building relationships with key partners, institutions, and public sector stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring regulatory and market developments, guiding crisis communication responses, and leading a small team or cross-functional resources to deliver consistent, high-quality communications.

Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, with strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
Experience working across international markets or with cross-border regulatory and public policy matters is highly beneficial.
