Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving growth and expanding GYC’s client portfolio. This role leads the development and execution of business development strategies, including identifying new markets, building relationships with prospective clients, and creating long-term partnership opportunities. Day-to-day activities include overseeing sales pipelines, guiding proposal development, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs. The Vice President of Business Development will monitor market trends, refine business plans, and provide leadership on revenue-generation initiatives. This role also mentors and supports team members involved in sales and account management to ensure consistent, high-quality client engagement.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Business Planning, with the ability to design and implement growth strategies.
Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including structuring agreements that align client objectives with organizational goals.
Experience in Sales and Account Management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and retention targets.
Strong understanding of professional services or consulting environments; HR or talent management sector experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Strategic mindset combined with analytical skills for evaluating market opportunities, pricing, and competitive positioning.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a remote or distributed work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
