Independent Travel Advisor — Remote
Wand & Compass Travel Co. is a boutique travel agency specializing in Disney Destinations, Universal, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, family vacations, and thoughtfully planned travel experiences.
We’re looking for motivated, service-minded people who love travel and want to build their own travel business with the support, training, supplier relationships, and community of an established agency.
No previous travel advisor experience is required. We provide structured training through our Wayfinder Academy and ongoing support as you learn the business.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with your own clients to plan and book vacations
Research destinations, resorts, cruises, tickets, transportation, and other travel components
Create personalized recommendations based on each client’s needs and budget
Manage client communication, payments, deadlines, reservations, and travel details
Complete supplier and destination training as needed
Market your travel services and build your own client base
Maintain accurate client and booking records in agency-required systems
Follow agency and supplier advertising, branding, and booking policies
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organization and attention to detail
Comfort using email, online systems, and basic computer tools
Willingness to learn new destinations, suppliers, and booking systems
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Interest in building your own client base and growing a travel business
Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, or travel experience is helpful, but not required.

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only opportunity, not a salaried or hourly employee position.
New advisors have opportunities for increased commission levels based on production and agency structure.
Estimated annual commission earnings are $10,000–$60,000+, depending on individual sales volume and activity. Earnings are not guaranteed, and commissions are paid after Wand & Compass receives payment from the travel supplier.
Schedule & Work Location
This is a fully remote opportunity with a flexible schedule. Independent advisors determine when and where they work and are responsible for building and managing their own client base.
Required Agency Tools
Advisors are required to use designated Wand & Compass systems, including our CRM and agency communication platforms. Some required business tools have a monthly cost; full details are provided during onboarding.
There is no Wand & Compass startup or joining fee.
