Haseel is looking for a Co-Founder & CTO
Haseel is building an AI-powered financial system for small businesses and freelancers across MENA.
Businesses still spend significant time managing invoices, payments, collections, and financial operations across spreadsheets, accounting tools, WhatsApp, email, and disconnected systems.
Haseel is being built to make these processes smarter, simpler, and more connected through AI and automation.
We have already built the MVP, and we are now entering the product validation and early testing stage with real users.
We are looking for a Co-Founder & CTO
This is not a traditional CTO position.
This is an opportunity to build a startup from zero and become one of its core founders.
You will work directly with the founder to shape the technology, product, architecture, and future direction of Haseel.
You will have significant ownership and autonomy and will play a major role in deciding how we build and scale the company.
What You’ll Do
• Own the technical direction and architecture
• Develop and improve the core product
• Build AI-powered features and automation
• Design scalable backend and data infrastructure
• Integrate external platforms and APIs
• Establish engineering, testing, security, and deployment practices
• Work closely with the founder on product and company strategy
• Eventually build and lead the engineering team
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a strong engineer who also thinks like a founder.
Ideally, you have:
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering experience
• Experience building and launching real products
• Strong SaaS, cloud, and database knowledge
• Hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, APIs, or automation
• Ability to build quickly with limited resources
• Strong product thinking
• High ownership and initiative
• Entrepreneurial mindset
FinTech experience is a plus, but not required.
We care more about what you have built, how you think, and what you can build next.
An Important Requirement
We are currently looking specifically for Arab nationals.
This Is a Founder Opportunity
You will not be joining an established company with a predefined role and roadmap.
You will be joining at the beginning and helping build the company itself.
You will have the opportunity to shape the technology, product, team, and future of Haseel from the ground up.
