VP / SVP of Operations

SE Sourcing is seeking an experienced and strategic VP / SVP of Operations to lead and optimize company-wide operational activities. This senior leadership role will work closely with the executive team to improve efficiency, strengthen internal processes, and support sustainable growth across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and long-term growth plans.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient execution across key business functions.
• Build, standardize, and continuously improve operational processes, workflows, policies, and performance systems.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions to improve performance.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure operational effectiveness and business results.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving sourcing, supply chain, finance, business development, technology, and other departments.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation of systems, tools, and technologies that improve productivity, reporting, and scalability.
• Ensure operational practices align with internal policies, risk management standards, and applicable business requirements.
• Support business expansion, supplier development, strategic partnerships, and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Provide regular operational updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in operations, sourcing, supply chain, business management, or senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading complex operations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in process improvement, performance management, operational planning, and organizational development.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced and remote work environment.
