Finance Executive – Accounting & R2R

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Finance Executive – Accounting & R2R based in India.
This is a hands-on finance role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and Record-to-Report (R2R) activities across multiple entities.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate books, supporting financial controls, and ensuring timely month-end close processes.
The position covers a broad range of activities across bookkeeping, AP, AR, reconciliations, billing, and general ledger management.
You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and tax advisors to resolve issues and maintain reliable financial records.
The role offers exposure to multi-entity accounting and a wide range of statutory and operational finance activities.
You will also contribute to improving and automating finance processes as the function continues to evolve.

Accountabilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting entries, and financial transactions across multiple entities.
Prepare and process customer invoices, vendor bills, receipts, payments, and related documentation.
Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized financial records and supporting documents.
Perform bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Manage month-end closing activities and support end-to-end Record-to-Report processes.
Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, provisions, journal entries, and other period-end adjustments.
Maintain accurate General Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet records.
Monitor AR/AP aging, outstanding invoices, collections, vendor payments, expenses, payroll, subscriptions, and corporate card transactions.
Support VAT, corporate tax, audit, and other statutory and compliance requirements.
Maintain entity-specific finance files, contracts, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, vendors, and internal stakeholders on accounting and finance matters.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve issues promptly and accurately.
Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Requirements
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
Strong hands-on experience with bookkeeping, General Ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
Previous experience managing accounting activities across multiple entities is preferred.
Knowledge of UAE accounting and VAT requirements is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and experience working with accounting or ERP software such as Zoho.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
ACCA, CA, CMA, or another relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently in a hands-on Individual Contributor role.
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
