Assistant Manager - Quality

Drive process and product quality across the Commercial Refrigeration plant by strengthening in-process controls, ensuring compliance with quality systems, supporting new product introduction, and leading structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Monitor critical manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to defined product and process quality standards.
Validate critical processes including PU foaming, brazing, high-pressure helium leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, electrical safety testing and cooling performance testing.
Establish key process indicators and implement preventive and corrective actions to eliminate recurring quality and delivery issues.
Drive daily line rejection analysis, part-failure root cause analysis and quality performance reviews with Production and Quality teams.
Lead Gemba reviews and improvement actions covering process discipline, 5S and Kaizen.
Ensure quality manpower and associates are deployed at key stages across product lines and shifts.
Partner with Production, Technical Support and Product Development teams from production prototype to product commercialization.
Support new product development and engineering change implementation while maintaining shop-floor quality standards.
Handle customer complaints, complete root cause analysis and submit timely corrective action plans for process and product failures.
Maintain readiness for customer and external visits, with updated documents, trend charts and visual controls on the shop floor.
Ensure compliance with established certified quality systems in the respective areas.
Establish and monitor control charts and performance trends for key CTQs and CTPs.
Prepare statistical reports and conduct weekly and monthly quality reviews with plant leadership.
