Role Description The Tendering Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for managing the end-to-end tender and quotation process for technical and electrical projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing tender documents, analyzing technical and commercial requirements, preparing accurate quotations, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to obtain pricing and technical data. The role involves evaluating procurement options, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and company standards. The Tendering Engineer will draft and update tender proposals, maintain documentation, and communicate clarifications to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner. This position requires close collaboration with engineering, sales, and procurement teams to deliver timely, competitive, and technically sound proposals.
Qualifications
Strong experience in preparing and managing quotations and tender documents for technical or electrical projects.
Solid analytical skills for evaluating technical specifications, pricing, and commercial terms.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost comparison.
Background in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical data.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with tendering or ERP software is an advantage.
Experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects is beneficial.
