Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pottstown, PA. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager will coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, maintain accurate employee records, and support managers with coaching and guidance on HR-related matters. The role includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing benefits and compensation administration, and supporting training and development initiatives. The Human Resources Manager will partner with leadership to promote a positive workplace culture and address HR issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and ability to ensure compliance in day-to-day HR practices.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills to work effectively with employees and management at all levels.
Proficiency in HR systems and tools, such as HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and training coordination, including developing job descriptions and interview processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred but not required.
