Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Manager role based in the Bhopal Area. The Purchase Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, and placing purchase orders for feed, equipment, packaging, and other operational materials. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with production and finance teams, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support smooth operations. The Purchase Manager will maintain vendor relationships, track market trends and pricing, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate purchase records, analyzing cost efficiencies, and contributing to improvement of procurement processes and systems.
Qualifications
Strong skills in purchasing, vendor management, and supply chain coordination, with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and contracts.
Proficiency in inventory management, order tracking, and basic data analysis for cost and consumption patterns.
Ability to use procurement or ERP software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for documentation and reporting.
Effective negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
Solid understanding of basic finance concepts related to budgeting, cost control, and price comparison.
Experience in agriculture, poultry, FMCG, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and uphold high standards of integrity and compliance.
