Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — incidents, alerts, and investigations — to assess what's happening and why it matters
Classify severity levels, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
Review detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy and real-world applicability
Evaluate AI-generated security outputs and validate they reflect how analysts actually work in practice
Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in security contexts
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows
Strong ability to distinguish true positives from noise and false positives
Detail-oriented with clear written communication skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
Experience with threat hunting, threat intelligence, or digital forensics
Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or similar
Background in evaluating or documenting security processes and procedures
