Role Description The VP of Project Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery across multiple residential construction and remodeling initiatives. This role leads project teams, sets operational priorities, and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project pipelines, tracking progress, coordinating with design, construction, and customer service teams, and resolving operational issues. The VP of Project Operations will develop and refine processes, implement performance metrics, manage project-related P&L, and support strategic planning for future growth. This position also engages with clients and key partners to ensure excellent service, clear communication, and consistent project outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management skills with experience optimizing workflows, processes, and resource allocation.
Demonstrated expertise in P&L Management, budgeting, and financial oversight for multi-project portfolios.
Proven Project Management abilities, including scheduling, risk mitigation, and cross-functional team coordination.
Customer Service experience ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and high levels of client satisfaction.
Strategic Planning capabilities to align project operations with long-term business goals and growth initiatives.
Experience in construction, remodeling, or related industries, preferably leading complex residential projects.
Strong leadership and people management skills, including mentoring, performance management, and team development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Proficiency with project management software and tools; familiarity with remote collaboration platforms.
