Part Time Dietitian And Program Facilitator

About the role
The Biting Truth is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, confident dietitian to join our Sydney team.
This is a permanent part time role, 2 - 3 days per week, with the potential to grow into a full time position.
It’s a genuinely varied role, but a big part of it will be delivering our Fuel Your Potential nutrition programs in Sydney high schools. So if you LOVE presenting, feel confident standing in front of a room full of students and enjoy making nutrition engaging and practical, we want to hear from you.
Outside of our school programs, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved across different parts of The Biting Truth, including private practice, content development, product development, corporate programs and new projects as the business grows.
What you’ll be doing
• Delivering engaging nutrition workshops in Sydney high schools
• Facilitating sessions with students from Years 7 to 12
• Seeing 1:1 private practice clients
• Contributing to nutrition content and resources
• Helping develop new products, programs and ideas
• Getting involved in other areas of The Biting Truth based on your skills and interests
Who we’re looking for
Your dietetics qualifications matter, but for this role, how you communicate is just as important.
You’ll ideally:
• Be an Accredited Practising Dietitian
• Ideally at least 2 years of experience as a dietitian
• LOVE presenting and speaking to groups
• Bring confidence and energy to a room
• Be warm, relatable and able to connect with teenagers
• Be comfortable working in a small, fast moving team
• Be proactive and happy to take ownership of your work
• Want to contribute ideas and be part of growing the business
• Be based in Sydney and able to travel to schools across Sydney
This probably isn’t the role for someone looking for a traditional clinical dietitian position. There is plenty of variety, autonomy and opportunity to get involved in different areas of the business.
About The Biting Truth
The Biting Truth was founded by Accredited Practising Dietitians Anna Morgan and Alex Parker.
We deliver practical, evidence based nutrition programs across schools and workplaces, alongside private practice, digital resources and other nutrition projects.
We’re a small team with big plans, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of where we’re going next.
