Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Sun Cupid México is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, manage cash flow and liquidity, and develop strategies to support sustainable growth and profitability. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The CFO will partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making, evaluate business initiatives and investments, and implement policies and controls that strengthen risk management. This role also involves managing relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and key stakeholders, while mentoring and developing the finance team.

Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Candidates should possess strong leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance, and cash flow management.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Relevant experience as a senior finance leader, ideally as a CFO or equivalent, in a growth-oriented organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is beneficial.
Comfort with remote work, digital collaboration tools, and managing distributed teams.
