[SO] Packaging Design and Optimization Engineer (Chinese Speaking)

•Develop packaging materials and packaging solutions for raw materials, components, and finished products used in the supply chain.
• Design returnable and one-way packaging for transportation, storage, and material handling.
• Create and improve packaging designs to reduce costs, improve ergonomics, and maximize product loading efficiency.
• Work with Bosch plants and external suppliers to implement new packaging concepts and support new project launches.
• Collaborate with logistics, manufacturing, quality, and other departments to ensure packaging designs meet technical, operational, and logistics requirements.
• Support supplier selection and sourcing activities for packaging materials and packaging products.
• Support the purchasing process for tools and equipment required for packaging production.
• Review and improve existing packaging designs and processes to increase standardization and reduce the number of packaging types.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects related to packaging, logistics, and supply chain efficiency.
• Bachelor/Master degree: Automotive Engineering, Design, Industrial Design, or other related degrees.
• Design software knowledge and skills (Siemens NX, Solid Works, AutoCAD or similar) is mandatory
• Familiarity with different types of packaging materials
• Communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Reliable and structured person
• Experience working with MS-Office tools, IT tools, web-based portals
• SAP knowledge can be helpful
• Knowledge of automotive industry regulations and compliance requirements related to product development and manufacturing is an advantage
• Creative person with attention to details
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities and project management skills are helpful
• Languages:
English - level C1
