Role Description The Plant Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Washim, responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing production planning, monitoring output against targets, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with maintenance and supply chain teams to minimize downtime. The Plant Head will lead quality control initiatives, ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards, and implement process improvements to achieve operational excellence. This role includes preparing and managing plant budgets, controlling costs, and reporting key performance metrics to senior management. The Plant Head will also mentor and guide plant personnel, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Plant Operations and Production Management, with the ability to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
Hands-on experience in Production Planning, including capacity planning, scheduling, and coordination with supply chain and maintenance functions.
Proficiency in Quality Control practices, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and product consistency.
Demonstrated capability in Budgeting, cost control, and optimizing operational expenditures.
Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in leading plant teams, building a high-performance culture, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex operational issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams and management levels.
Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems in the petrochemical or process industry.
