Requirement Summary
Job-Role/Title: Project Manager (PMO - Transition Program)
Anticipated Start Date: 2-3 weeks from offer (pending background checks)
Job Type: Contract Opportunity. Initial contract for 16 months, with good possibilities of further extensions.
Job Location: Canada.
Work Style: Remote Work with potential on-site requirements (Travel Expenses paid).
Work Hours: 40 hours/week, typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Contractor to work extra time or be on-call: Yes, on-call rotation (Monday to Sunday) as required.
Rate Cap: Depending on relevant experience. The final compensation will be negotiated between the contractor and recruiter based on experience and engagement terms.
Interview: Teams interviews; 2 interviews.

Required Experience and Skills for this Role:
1. Engagement Lead – Minimum 15 years
Must have substantial experience in project management governance, PMO/PMCoE development, organizational transformation, and competency-based qualification programs.
Previous experience leading similar consulting assignments is essential.
2. Project Management Capability Assessment Specialists – Minimum 8+ years
Experience conducting structured PM competency interviews, reviewing qualifications and project experience, developing scoring matrices, calibrating assessments, and producing capability assessment reports.
3. Training and Competency Development Specialist – Minimum 8+ years
Experience designing competency frameworks, performing training needs assessments, and developing adult learning programs and training materials.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in nuclear, energy, major capital projects, engineering, or similarly regulated environments.
Ideal Consultants for this Role must provide:
Detailed resume identifying relevant consulting assignments.
Examples of similar engagements completed within the last 10 years, including their specific responsibilities and outcomes.
Any sanitized examples of relevant competency frameworks, PMO implementation plans, or assessment deliverables that the candidate is authorized to share.
