Vice President of Quality Improvement
💼 Responsibilities
Lead the organization’s global quality improvement strategy, driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and consistent performance standards.
Develop and implement quality improvement programs, policies, processes, and performance frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.
Establish and monitor quality KPIs, benchmarks, and performance metrics across business units and operational functions.
Analyze operational data, quality trends, customer feedback, audit findings, and performance gaps to identify improvement opportunities.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues, reduce recurring problems, and improve operational outcomes.
Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to implement cross-functional quality initiatives.
Develop standardized procedures, controls, and best practices to improve process consistency, efficiency, reliability, and service quality.
Oversee quality audits, assessments, reviews, and continuous improvement programs across regional and functional teams.
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies where appropriate.
Establish quality governance, reporting, documentation, and accountability frameworks across the organization.
Lead, mentor, and develop quality improvement teams and senior quality leaders.
Provide executive leadership with regular reports, quality performance analysis, risk assessments, and strategic improvement recommendations.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational accountability, quality ownership, and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
🎓 Experience Requirements
18+ years of progressive experience in quality management, quality improvement, operational excellence, process improvement, or a related field.
10+ years of senior leadership experience overseeing enterprise-wide quality or continuous improvement initiatives.
Proven experience designing and implementing quality management systems, performance frameworks, and continuous improvement programs.
Extensive experience with process optimization, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, quality audits, and performance management.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives across complex or multinational organizations.
Proven experience developing and managing high-performing quality, operational excellence, or continuous improvement teams.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, process improvement, problem-solving, risk management, and executive communication skills.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, ISO standards, or other recognized quality improvement methodologies preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field required; MBA, Six Sigma certification, or other advanced qualification preferred.
