About the Role
This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a desire to build a long-term career in healthcare technology. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to install, inspect, and maintain operating room equipment while gaining hands-on experience in clinical and construction environments. Important note: Travel is required for this role. Team members report to active job sites, which vary depending on where Hendrix Medical's current projects are located.
What You’ll Do:
• Install and set up operating room equipment
• Support testing and inspection for safety and performance
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Maintain tools and organized workspaces
• Complete installation and service documentation
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training
• Provide basic customer support
What You Bring:
• Mechanical/technical aptitude
• Ability to read diagrams and manuals
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Willingness to travel nationwide
• Experience with hand/power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
Compensation & Benefits:
• Health insurance (starts ASAP)
• IRA with 3% company match
• 14 days PTO • $60/day per diem
• Mileage reimbursement
