Role Description The VP of Financial Product Services is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the design, management, and enhancement of investment and financial products across AYF’s portfolio. This role oversees end-to-end product lifecycle management, including market analysis, product strategy, development, launch, and ongoing performance review. The VP collaborates closely with investment, risk, operations, compliance, and sales teams to ensure products meet regulatory standards, client needs, and profitability targets. Daily responsibilities include supervising product governance processes, managing cross-functional projects, optimizing product features based on data-driven insights, and preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership. The role also involves mentoring team members, driving process improvements, and supporting client-facing teams with product expertise and materials.
Qualifications
Strong Finance and Analytical Skills to evaluate product performance, assess risks, and support data-driven decision-making.
Proven Product Management and Product Development experience in financial services or asset management, covering the full product lifecycle.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, and coordinating stakeholders.
Experience in asset management, investment products (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, private funds), and related regulatory environments.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership experience managing teams or senior-level initiatives, with a focus on coaching and developing talent.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are an advantage.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to client-centric product solutions.
