Solar Technician

Role Description The Solar Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bikaner. The Solar Technician will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining solar power systems, including panels, inverters, and related electrical components. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting system issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient power generation. The role involves working closely with project engineers and site teams to support project execution, maintain documentation, and comply with safety standards and relevant regulations. The Solar Technician will also monitor system performance and assist in optimizing energy output to meet project and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Solar Systems and Solar Power, with hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Familiarity with the Solar Industry and Power Generation processes, including on-site operational practices and safety standards.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in solar installations and related equipment.
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Comfort working in outdoor site conditions, with adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and use of monitoring software; prior experience in utility-scale solar projects is an advantage.
