Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. This role involves generating and converting leads, building relationships with distributors and retailers, and driving sales of the company’s garden products and planters. Daily tasks include meeting potential customers, presenting product features and benefits, negotiating pricing and terms, and following up to close deals. The specialist will also support marketing initiatives, such as coordinating promotional campaigns, collecting market feedback, creating basic sales materials, and assisting in training stakeholders on product usage. The role requires maintaining accurate sales records, collaborating with internal teams to align sales and marketing efforts, and providing responsive customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, understand needs, and provide clear, professional support.
Proven Sales capabilities, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, with an understanding of garden or consumer products preferred.
Experience in Sales Management and Training to guide sales activities, support channel partners, and deliver product knowledge sessions.
Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, India, with a proactive, target-driven mindset and strong organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of marketing principles, including promotional activities, market research, and competitor analysis.
Comfort using digital tools for communication, reporting, and catalog sharing; familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in sales or marketing roles.
