Kindwell Partners is a management services organization (MSO) that partners with and acquires behavioral health group practices across the country. Our founders stay on to lead their practices clinically. We provide the engine behind them: finance, billing, operations, technology, recruiting and growth. Each practice keeps its local name and its culture. Kindwell makes it easier to run, more profitable and able to grow.
We're a small, fast-moving team growing across several states. Everyone here builds systems, owns outcomes and cares about clinicians being able to do their best work.

The role
Kindwell is adding practices quickly, and we need a finance leader who can make the numbers airtight as we grow. You'll own the financial architecture across a multi-entity platform: the MSO, each practice we acquire and our investment vehicles. Founding Directors, investors and lenders all rely on our numbers. You'll make sure they can.
What you'll own
Multi-entity close and reporting. Monthly close, consolidated and entity-level financials, and a reporting calendar that runs on time.
MSA fee and earn-out calculations. Management-fee billing under our services agreements and performance-based earn-out calculations for Founding Directors. They must be accurate, documented and defensible.
Deal finance. Quality-of-earnings style review for acquisition targets, valuation models, debt restructuring analysis and the funds flow at closing.
Capital and investor reporting. Investor updates, cap table accuracy, lender relationships and covenant tracking.
Cash and forecasting. 13-week cash forecast, annual budget and a platform model that updates as practices are added.
Team and systems. Pick and oversee our accounting stack and outside CPA, and set the finance structure that a future controller and staff accountant will run.
What you bring
10+ years in finance leadership, including CFO or VP Finance work in healthcare services
Hands-on experience with an MSO or physician/behavioral health practice management model
Multi-entity accounting, M&A and earn-out or contingent-consideration experience
Comfort with healthcare revenue: payer mix, collections, AR and revenue cycle metrics
Investor- and lender-ready reporting you'd put your name on
CPA preferred

Monthly close finished by the 15th for every entity
