Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for working closely with customers to design, implement, and deploy solutions built on Gwendolyn.ai’s platform. On a day-to-day basis, this role will translate customer requirements into technical architectures, build and integrate back-end services, and configure workflows and tools to deliver reliable outcomes. The engineer will collaborate with product and AI teams to tailor features, optimize performance, and ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support. Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting integration issues, improving automation and workflows, and documenting technical solutions for internal and external stakeholders. This role is highly customer-facing and hands-on, requiring frequent iteration based on feedback to keep solutions aligned with real-world needs.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, with experience building APIs, services, and integrations.
Hands-on Software Development experience, including version control, testing, and deployment practices.
Solid Programming skills and familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Comfort with remote collaboration tools and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, cloud platforms, or workflow automation is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
