We are VetHelpDirect, a leading pet tech company founded by vets. We believe that easy access to the right vet means better welfare for animals. So we design and develop digital products that make it super simple (and a total pleasure) for pet parents and vet practices to connect and communicate.We already have 1000+ UK vet practices subscribed and we also work with some of the biggest names in the veterinary industry and have clients across the UK and Australia.We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and help develop our products using modern web technologies such as Laravel, Wordpress, VueJS and Angular.VetHelpDirect provide a directory of vet practices that includes moderated reviews, location, contact information and pricing. We also offer a symptom checker, a pet health library and a blog.In addition to those services, we have an ambitious and exciting roadmap of development which will see the company’s reach expand both in the UK and internationally.
As the successful candidate, you’ll be working with modern web development technologies to both improve existing services and develop new ones. Salary
Salary ranging between 10 to 18 lakhs depending upon experience and skill set.

Fluent idiomatic written and spoken English
Technical Requirements
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Experience developing responsive web based interfaces, ideally with experience using Javascript frameworks like VueJS or Angular
Experience of using PHP, ideally Laravel, Wordpress, Twig and MySQL
Strong HTML and CSS/SASS skills
Experience with Docker and Docker Swarm
A solid understanding of programming principles
Ability to rapidly learn new skills and apply them towards a goal
Experience creating and maintaining infrastructure in AWS, ideally with experience around autoscaling and writing infrastructure-as-code with CDK
Responsibilities
Development of new product functionality
Ensure that VetHelpDirect’s products are developed to a high quality standard and are robust and reliable
Develop and maintain unit and functional tests to a high degree of coverage
Create high-quality technical documentation
Diagnose problems and fix bugs in collaboration with the technical support team
Implement scalable, maintainable and performant software
