Role Description This is a full-time Lift Technician (Maintenance) role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area with some work-from-home tasks such as reporting and documentation. The Lift Technician will perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of elevators in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting faults, replacing or adjusting parts, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves responding to service calls, conducting performance checks, maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with supervisors and clients, and following company procedures for safety and quality. The technician will also support installation teams when needed and participate in periodic training to stay current with industry practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for vertical transportation systems.
Candidates should possess practical experience working with Elevators, including familiarity with different control systems and components.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electricity, electrical safety practices, and reading basic wiring diagrams.
Relevant technical diploma or ITI in electrical, mechanical, or electronics field, or equivalent hands-on experience in lift maintenance.
Ability to work on-site at customer locations in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, including occasional emergency or after-hours calls.
Understanding of safety regulations, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to company safety policies.
Good communication skills, ability to maintain service documentation, and collaborate with supervisors and clients.
Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
