Role Description The Architectural Designer will work on-site in Ernakulam in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and documentation of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing conceptual and detailed architectural designs, preparing construction and permit drawings, and assisting with plot subdivision layouts in line with local regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal team members and external stakeholders to gather requirements, refine design solutions, and ensure that drawings meet technical and regulatory standards. The Architectural Designer will also support urban planning considerations, participate in site visits as needed, and help maintain project documentation and revisions throughout the approval process.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design for various building types.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings and Drawing for detailed permit and working drawings.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Urban Planning principles relevant to plot subdivision and local building regulations.
Proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and basic BIM understanding is beneficial.
Relevant academic background in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, spatial thinking, and ability to interpret and apply building codes and standards.
Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
